What results should I expect as a result of Gila Group's collection efforts?

Our stated goal is to minimize delinquency and charge-offs. We will establish in partnership with you mutually agreeable goals and objectives. Our pricing model will include a performance incentive to help establish those goals and risk in our contract.

Do you collect charged-off loans and credit cards?

No. We collect "active" pre-default loans performed in the name of the financial institution. Our efforts are performed utilizing your collection policies and procedure, under your supervision and control.

How can I be certain that our customers will be treated fairly and with respect?

We have performed in-house, pre charge-off collections since 1988 and have not been sued for either a state or Federal collection law violation. We provide our collectors with tools necessary to resolve the delinquency in a fair and professional manner.

How is delinquency data communicated to/from Gila Group?

You provide Gila Group with a daily flat file via a secure data connection. Gila Group collects on its in-house TopNotch collection system (Guthrie Phillips). Upon request, a file containing our collection notes can be made available to you. You have full access to our system in order to review our collection notes and calls.

What are Gila Group's hours of operation?

Phone calls will be made at varying times throughout the work week until contact is made, but will always be between the hours of 8am and 9pm local time in accordance with FDCPA guidelines.

How are Gila Group's services priced?

Since we customize our service to meet your specific needs, our price is based upon the level of service you request. Factors including average number of accounts to be worked, loan/credit card products, quality of paper and specific reporting requirements and collection procedures established by the credit union will determine the cost of service.

Do you handle bankruptcy and repossession accounts?

Yes. We have a separate in-house department called the Special Services Group (SSG) that handles bankruptcy and repossession accounts. We may perform services including filing proofs of claim, coordinating motions to lift stay with attorneys and communicating with bankruptcy trustees. We also process all required notices in the repossession process, coordinate placement of and follow-up with repossession orders with bonded/insured agents and assist in the sdisposition of collateral.
